Call for Papers

WIFS is the annual flagship workshop organized by the IEEE IFS-TC, with the major goal of bringing together researchers in the field to foster ideas exchange and to allow cross-fertilization among researchers working in the different areas of information security. At the same time, WIFS intends to attract researchers traditionally not being part of the IFS community, while working in the IFS areas, thus broadening the scope of the workshop. In this respect, WIFS will serve as a powerful instrument for community building.

Regular submission to WIFS 2024 can be up to 6 double-column pages including references and figures. The review process will be single-blind (author’s names can be reported in the submitted papers). Accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. It is IEEE policy that WIFS accepts only original research papers, which are not already published or submitted elsewhere (including journals, conferences and workshops). Double submissions will be rejected immediately.

It is planned to organize a special issue on a journal with invitations for a selection of the best presented papers.
